A Nail Biter with Challenges & a Budget

Challenges, challenges, challenges, oh my! It really is crazy how much pressure we can all put on ourselves to get so many things done. Some things should be easy to accomplish while others are actual challenges and become a tackle to get done.

I really do want to be able to do this 365 Project. I personally feel that posting a single photo everyday might be to small for a post, and maybe boring? What do you all think? I definitely think that at least 3 photos in each post would be even better, and maybe more enticing with having to what for more photos. Let me know what you think in the comments. I LOVE reading comments and responding to them!!! I hope 3 exclamations shows my excitement. I do want to say that I will officially start my 365 Project on January 1 2015… Wow! Time truly flies, and I think that as we get older time goes by even quicker.

Continuing with challenges, I recently wanted to “challenge” myself to stop biting my nails. (I’m putting this in writing, dun dun dunnnn). This a habit that I should have NOT ever started (my inner Chandler Bing from ‘Friends’ coming out. He always emphasizes a word lol). I don’t why I do it, and I’ve been biting my nails for what seems like forever. They do look fairly decent right now though. Yes I took this photo while I was writing this. *smiles*

I know you’re going to say it “your nails are so short.” This actually is a VERY comfortable length for me. If they get much longer I start to go crazy and want to rip them off. I can bite them EXTREMELY short and not bleed (thank God)! I do also know that the shape of my nail is not “normal.” I consider normally shaped thumbs as being much longer and not NEAR as wide as mine are. You can google ‘Megan Fox thumbs’, and I have the same type of thumb that she has. The technical term for the shape of my thumbs is ‘clubbed’ – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clubbed_thumb

I do also want to challenge myself for the month of January to stay on a strict budget. I don’t have too much to deal with, but of course everything ranks up pretty quick. I don’t necessarily want to say what my budget is going to be though, I hope that’s ok. The biggest thing, is food. I LOVE FOOD! If I can at least not spend more than $60 a week on food that would be amazing. Plus I like to try to eat healthy and that can get expensive. I do almost always bring my lunch to work though, which does help.

I don’t want to keep rambling on, so this is where I’m going to stop. I don’t think I was rambling, was I? Anyways, I’m going to leave you all with a photo of my boyfriend and I from when we first started dating almost 5 years ago (February of 2010). He goes by infernobyrd1 on youtube. : )

Woo! Number one, I definitely think that three photos or so per post would be great. There’s a little less pressure, I think, and, if you want to do something crazy cool with your photos, you can.

Number two, I get you about biting your nails. Well, actually, I tend to rip mine off, but it’s the same concept! It’s so hard to stop, but you can do it! I started painting my nails, actually, to try to curb it. We’ll see if it pays off. (Also, I hadn’t even noticed anything about your thumb or your nails until you mentioned it. Well, other than your nails were all even.)

Number three, good luck on your budget challenge! You can do that one as well! *waves pom-poms* Yeah!

You weren’t rambling at all. Or, if you were, it was interesting rambling? That photo of the two of you, though, is so sweet. What a darling couple you make! <3

    Have a lovely day!
